One unique service I offer is House Portraits. We spend a lot of time and resources in and around our houses, and having a portrait of your house is a great way to record that investment as well as pass a memory along to the next generation. I recently finished a house portrait for a client in Fort Worth, Texas. (image center top) I am always happy to create a painting for folks that they love and relate to. House portraits are unique in that they actually document history in general, and your family history in particular. They can be passed on to the the next generation and they make great gifts for the holidays. The portraits are created in oils on panel or canvas in a variety of sizes. (panels are recommended as they are more durable over time)
If local, paintings are created “en plein air”, or on location. If that is not possible and travel is out of the budget, paintings can be created from clear photo reference.
